Bi-annual Bake Sale

FOUCL sponsors popular bake sales at the Union County Public Library.

Folks know they can count on delicious baked goods, like cakes, cookies, and pies from our FRIENDS bakers, but we know some people don’t bake and some who wish to contribute to our organization don’t buy baked goods. We try to accommodate both types - those who love to bake and/or buy, and those who prefer to give a monetary donation equivalent to what they would have spent on ingredients and purchases. These bake sale fundraisers are usually earmarked for a specific purpose, determined a month or two before the sale, depending on feedback of needs we receive from Union County Public Library.

In 2025, we had our first bake sale to coordinate with the first day of the library’s book sale and it was very successful. In the future, we will probably be holding bake sales twice a year (Spring and Fall) on the first day of the book sales. Check our calendar for exact dates.

Volunteers are always appreciated for baking and for greeting people at these sales.
