Bi-annual Bake Sale

FOUCL sponsors popular bake sales in the Community Room at the Union County Public Library.

Folks know they can count on delicious baked goods, like cakes, cookies and pies from our FRIENDS bakers, but we have found that people also like the convenience of bakeless bakes sales. We try to accomodate both types of donors - those who love to bake and buy, and those who prefer to give a monetary donation equivalent to what they would have spent on ingredients and purchases. These bakesale fundraisers are usually earmarked for a specific purpose, determined a month or two before the sale, depending on feedback of needs we receive from Union County Public Library.

The Friday before Mothers Day in May has traditionally been our first sale of the year. The second sale has been in November and will become an entirely bakeless bake sale in 2023 with donations being taken during our Everything Christmas Sale on the first Friday and Saturday of the month.

Volunteers are always appreciated for baking and for greeting people at these sales.
