Mile of Pennies

Bring your loose pennies to the library to put in the big penny jar.  So far, several miles (over $1,400 worth) of pennies have been donated.

The two-day sale was held at the Civic Center in Blairsville and grossed new memberships and almost $6,000.

Many, many thanks to our splendid membership for your active support of our beloved public library.  You vigorously advocated state funding for the much-needed renovation and expansion of the library.  You volunteer your time and energy again and again to raise thousands of dollars to purchase equipment and furnishings for the library.  You recruit new members for Friends of Union County Library and you renew your own Friends membership year after year.  Thank you, Friend!
